Advocates for the Kentucky Osteopathic Medical Association
The Advocates for the Kentucky Osteopathic Medical Association (AKOMA) supports and promotes the osteopathic profession. Anyone can join! Current AKOMA members include spouses and significant others, friends, family members of DOs and student DOs. AKOMA is an affiliate organization of the Advocates for the American Osteopathic Association (AAOA).

AKOMA Annual Meeting
Held during the KOMA Annual Conference, the AKOMA membership meeting is an opportunity to exchange ideas, elect new officers, select community projects and enjoy fellowship with friends.
PCOM SAA
AKOMA is a proud supporter of the Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine Student Advocates Association. This group supports and promotes the osteopathic medical students in Pikeville with scholarships, social events, fundraising, and community projects.
AKOMA National Representation
Members of AKOMA attend and participate nationally at the Advocates for the American Osteopathic Association's Annual Meeting held in conjunction with the AOA's Annual Osteopathic Medical Conference and Exposition.
